How it works
- Paste a public video URL or ID. The browser extracts and validates the 11-character video ID.
- It checks the standard thumbnail files made available by YouTube, from maximum resolution down to the default size.
- Choose an available size, download the JPG, or open that image in the six-layout thumbnail tester.
Use it responsibly
Make sure you have permission to reuse any image you download. The downloader is useful for checking your own published thumbnails, saving a review reference, or studying public examples; it does not grant rights to reuse another creator’s artwork.
